How to use the Hyperscience Help Center

The Hyperscience Help Center brings product guidance, release information, API reference, and deployment documentation together in one place. This article explains how to find the documentation that applies to you and how to use the site’s search, navigation, and learning features.

Choose the right workspace

The Help Center is organized into workspaces. Each workspace contains documentation for a particular Hyperscience version or purpose.

Hyperscience user guides and resources for various versions and features displayed on the site.

Use the workspace selector in the site header to switch between:

Workspace	What you’ll find
General Information	Release notes, guidance that applies across versions, advanced configurations, Deduplication documentation, and information about the Help Center.
Versioned User Guides	Product documentation for specific Hyperscience releases. Select the User Guide that matches the version running in your instance.
Deployment Information	Guidance for SaaS and for installing, configuring, upgrading, and monitoring a self-hosted instance.

Some content requires you to sign in, and what you can access may depend on your permissions.

Using an earlier version
Contact your Hyperscience representative to find user guides for earlier versions of the product.

Browse a product user guide

After selecting the user guide that matches your Hyperscience version, use the categories in the left navigation to find the right area.

Category	What it covers
Navigation & Settings	Navigating and administering Hyperscience, including application settings, jobs, user management, authentication, and permissions.
Supervision & QA	Hyperscience’s Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) tasks, including Supervision, Quality Assurance, queues, and output-quality controls.
Layouts & Submissions	How Hyperscience defines, processes, and tracks documents using layouts, data types, layout versions, releases, and submissions.
Flows	How Hyperscience automates document-processing workflows using flows and configurable flow blocks, including how to create, manage, test, and troubleshoot them.
Models	Hyperscience’s supported model types—including Classification, Identification, VLM Field Extraction, Text Classification, and Transcription—and how to train, evaluate, deploy, and manage them.
Reporting	How to monitor your Hyperscience using automation, accuracy, processing time, throughput, user performance, and usage metrics.
Integrations	How to connect Hyperscience to external systems using input and output connections, supported integrations, and the Hyperscience API.

Category names and available features may vary between versions. Always confirm that you are using the workspace that matches your Hyperscience instance.

Find an answer

Search the Help Center

Use standard or advanced search when you know the name of a feature, setting, page, or error message.

Select the search bar in the site header, or use:

Ctrl + K on Windows
Command + K on Mac

Because similar articles may exist for multiple product versions, filter the results to your workspace:

Select the filter icon in the search bar.
Under Workspace, select Specific.
Select the relevant workspace or workspaces.
Select Apply.

You can also filter results by content type or use the additional options on the full search-results page.

Ask Hyper

Use Ask Hyper when you want to ask a question in natural language or need an answer based on multiple documentation articles.

For example, instead of searching for individual keywords, ask:

How do I create and deploy a layout in v43?

For more useful answers:

Include your Hyperscience version.
Describe the task you want to complete.
Include the exact name of a setting, page, or error message when available.
Open the cited articles to review prerequisites, limitations, and version-specific details.

Learn with interactive walkthroughs

Selected articles include interactive walkthroughs. These guided simulations let you explore a Hyperscience process step by step without changing your own instance.

Start the walkthrough and follow the on-screen prompts. You can move forward, return to an earlier step, or restart the experience.

Because the product interface can change between releases, use walkthroughs from the user-guide workspace that matches your version.

Navigate within an article

Each article may include the following tools:

Article summary — An AI-generated overview that helps you quickly determine whether the article answers your question.

Overview of training a specialized model for document extraction and automation improvements.

Left navigation — Displays the categories and articles in your current workspace.

Overview of training a specialized model for document extraction using ORCA VLMs.

To hide the navigation or the Table of contents, click the collapse buttons ( )

In this article — Lists the article’s table of contents so you can jump directly to a section.

Additional actions — Export, print, copy page as Markdown for LLMs, View as Markdown, Open in ChatGPT, Open in Claude.

Check that the guidance applies to you

Before following a procedure:

Confirm that you are in the correct workspace.
Check that the article applies to your Hyperscience version.
Review prerequisites, permissions, licensing notes, and limitations.
Check the Release Notes in the General Information workspace to understand what changed between versions.

Use the feedback controls at the end of an article to tell us whether it was helpful.

If something is missing or unclear, include what you were trying to accomplish and which Hyperscience version you use. This context helps us improve the documentation.
